I come regularly to see Carleen for highlights . I find her highly competent , warm and engaging. i am always satisfied with the outcome and can only praise Carleen and the other staff at Barron for the excellent service they offer. I would certainly recommend this hair salon if anyone is looking in Muswell hill.

Went to Barrons for the first time yesterday, after reading fantastic reviews on their website.
I had a colour by Carly and a cut by David, it looked and felt amazing after it was finished. Would highly recommend the salon and I will defiantly return on a regular basis!

hated it ! owner called David gave me the worse cut ever ! and didn't even bother to dry my hair properly ! the color was hideous so patchy and poorly done eww would never come back! also the place needs refurbishing such a nasty place to be in, the towels are so old like the owner, the coffee's are hideous and for the prices its just ridiculous the place is just a mess! i recommend sanrizz or better yet hairwaves ! much friendlier and more proffesional!

I have been going to David for over 20years. He cut my daughter's hair on her wedding day and her bridesmaids and made it a very special start to the day. The staff have never been anything but friendly and welcoming and some of them have been with David for many years. A good sign in a business. I would recommend Barrons to anyone and frequently do.

Not at all happy to be charged £7 for a fringe trim between cuts, nowhere else does this. I shall not be returning. I assume the owner was the rude man on reception who made me unwelcome, can't see anyone actually employing him!

Overly expensive, overhyped, pretentious. Didn't want to make a scene in the place but the owner gave me an atrocious blowdry - my hair wasn't even dry when I left. The music was like something my dad would listen to because he thinks its still cool. If you're thinking of going, go spend 90£ in the 99p shop round the corner- you'll get a hell of a lot more for your cash.

it is true about of the the owner.he is a rude man with the snake attitude towards the customers that he likes- all about the sympathy towards the blond 20`s female clients. i would not recommend this place not even to my enemy....it is a Snake Pit on the Hill...bleahhhhhh

I had never been to Barrons and will never go again. The owner treated me with disdain, he was hideously rude and seemed to only be polite to 20 something blonde's.(who got free samples where us non 20 something brunettes didn't). He didn't manage to smile or make small talk, didn't offer me a seat (I had a broken foot at the time) and just glared. There was no scalp massage, and the coffee tasted like a Lidl special. Swanned around like Vidal Sassoon. The salon should be named Pretension on the Hill.

This place is good, but ludicrously over priced. If you can grab an offer, discount (MyMuswell - are you listening?) then take advantage, otherwise, I'd think about reducing the number of haircuts I get.
Not bad for kids either.
