According to their wesbite, the Caffè Nero philosophy is very simple: 'Premium Italian coffee. A warm and welcoming atmosphere. Good food and great personal service.' If that's what they've set out to acheive, they've succeeded. Nero has the classiest interior of the three Muswell coffee chains and their baristas tend to really tend to their coffee.

By far and away the best chain coffee shop in Muswell. Its partly helped out by a small Starbucks and a particularly poor Costa, but this Nero is in my opinion the best I've visited in London and I've been to most. Staff are really great (likable as well as efficient) and the coffee is well made. It can get seriously packed at weekends when it feels like a bit of a meeting point for local friends and families but the place is somehow kept clutter and stress free.
